  1. the best but the unluckiest player ive ever seen. he was germany's savior even in thier terrible times. for me, he is one of the best midfielders ever and one of my idols as he was a complete and has everything: dribbling, vision, two good feet, and creative.

  2. One of my all-time favourite players.
    Could do it all.
No weak foot, scored bangers from 30 meters out, amazing headers, superb passing be it short, diagonal or long, very physical and strong, didn't shy away from tackling, always put the team first.
And one of the best penalty takers ever; I have never seen him miss one.
In the 2000s, he could and would have walked into any first eleven in the world.

  3. In '06 when he had a free transfer he should've joined Man Utd instead of Chelsea it would've suited him more playing alongside Scholes than Lampard.

  4. Chilavert said this guy used to smell terrible and no one wanted to mark him/ defend against him because of it, but they knew they had to because he was an engine.

  5. Found his Emerson pick quite interesting, never rated him. To me, he was just a Gilberto. But tor someone like Ballack to rate him this high, I think I'm wrong about Emerson

  6. I like Ballack a great deal and think he was a great player but to not pick Thomas Muller for Engine seems a bit salty to me. I know he's probably closer to Essien and might not be that fond of Muller considerin he took his jersey for Germany and replaced him. However in their short time sharing the pitch I think it was quite obvious no one compares to Muller when it came to work rate, covering distance, non-stop running and getting into space. Muller blocked so many passing lines and drew opposing defenders out of position with weird runs. Muller in his prime is pretty much what I think of when I think of an engine player thats like having 2 players on the field for how involved they are off the ball.

  7. Surprised he said Emerson he was good but I wouldn't say complete. Glad he mentioned Essien as a fellow Ghanian was a beast very underated.
