Haaland will unfortunately go down as the better season because of the āstatisticsā but they hardly tell half the story. If you went back and compared both of their seasons, watching each game, itās easily Suarez. Thereās no denying the freak athlete and incredible force that is Erling Haaland, but most of his goal scoring has just been prolific, spectacular on the stat sheets but not necessarily spectacular to watch. Suarez scored banger after banger, had so much skill and poise, and was a very underrated passer with incredible vision. Thereās no question Suarez wins the eye test. Now to compare squadsā¦. That 13/14 Liverpool team was as mid as mid could be and Suarez nearly carried them to the prem and should have if not for the slipā¦. Then you have Peps illegal spending to put a god squad all around Haaland šš yeah 13/14 Suarez is clear
