  1. You are on Southern California!! Now you are next to showcase who has the loudest and proudest fanbase… And when it hits the Bay area in the knockouts we need that to be an eruption of emotions like never before Bay area!!!! This is OUR TOURNAMENT & the true AMERICA'S TEAM!!!!!

  2. Bruce arena wouldn't know what to do with all this talent. Not that Greg didn't have his own challenges. Bruce is just an old head still stuck in oldschool ways. Soccer has evolved in the last 15 years or so with new dynamic attacks, importance of ball possessions which in itself can be playing defense, and utilizing players in multi-positions. There's a reason Italy has regressed so much. They have been still stuck in that you just need to score one goal if you can play shutdown defense mentality..

  3. I think a perfect balance would be to play all the starters against Turkey (including Pulisic if he’s healthy) that don’t have a yellow and then sub the starters off at half time. Bench the yellows for the full match. We play better in the first 45 anyway. Perfect mix between carrying momentum and not risking the knockouts.

  4. Bruce continuously saying the R32 opponent will be better than Australia/Paraguay makes literally no sense. Australia and Paraguay are both likely going to qualify to the knockouts. A team like Bosnia, which is our most likely opponent, is not clearly better than either of those 2.

  5. I would rest Pulisic until the 60 minute especially if there is any questions about his calf. The same for the others, give the bench time to wear out turkeys attack and see how the game goes. We need players as well as wins going forward.

  6. Unfortunatelty it was a big mistake from Popovich.

If Australia had gone with Irankunda, Toure, Volpato. Rotating the 10 position, played with Back 4 of Bos, Circati, Harry, Geria . CDM Irvine with Okon and O'Neil high press.

And pushed the US early with a hard press it would have been tough for you guys.

  7. It wasn’t that the players were tired versus Trinidad. Although maybe they were. It’s because Arena insisted on playing guys just because they had a few more birthdays under their belt over youngsters who were far better players.

  8. Wish we had a better keeper.its ironic that the one position we used to have a world class player in was keeper and now that we have a bunch of world class players keeper is our weakest position.

  9. It’s such a nonsense rule that yellow cards, accidental routine fouls, in tow subsequent games gives you a suspension. Ridiculous. It’s already ridiculous to kick a player out of one game for two routine fouls. At least not without letting another players replace him. It shouldn’t impact the game SO much. Even red cards. Kick the player out but let someone replace him. I guess it’s the American in me. We don’t have any sports where kicking a player out of the game for whatever reason makes the team play short a man. Kicking the player out is enough of a penalty. I hate it. But this suspension for just two reputable fouls in two games, in a World Cup no less, is silly. And the fact is FIFA thinks it’s silly as well because I guarantee you they aren’t suspending Messi for any games.

  10. Incredible panel with these former US coaches. Absolutely best commentary on these games just humbling these former US coaches would come together to do this simply awesome.

  11. To be honest looking at the rest of the teams in the tournament their attackers are not defending like ours do. I see a lot of lazy attackers in the other teams.

  12. I have to temper their observations because all of them used a defensive mindset and we aren’t doing that with this team. Their comments seem anchored to their styles.

  13. Best possible review after a game couldn’t ask for a better panel who has such a breadth of knowledge in these moments. Lot to learn and I like the questions Rob asks while also allowing them to talk and expand on their points. Well done guys very helpful.

  14. Horrible to check these comments and find all the toxic idiots with rediculous and brainless criticism of Berhalter or any of these guys. Poch now is great, and if he succeeds credit will be due all these guys as well.
