Everything in the US is just weird
Any parents watching I am a soccer coach
Soccer in the US isnt treated like a big sport, funny considering that the US is going to host 2 world cups in the span of 30 years. If the US treated soccer like football or basketball there would be many more talented US born players playing in Europe or the MLS would be considered alongside the European leagues.
I think this might be a little controversial take but I actually think American soccer is actually better than in Europe. Per capita. Do you agree??
If you wanna make real difference, just start by the name of the game, because what you call football in the U.S is more a handball then football.

Lmao my coach was an English teacher, a high school soccer coach, a soccer academy coach, and he coached my team. He was a great coach, but he did not focus on us at all.
This is true, I spoke to a former Referee who currently works at Chelsea Piers in NYC. The guy knows Messi, Ronaldo, beckham, and etc. (he showed me pictures of his time in europe) dude makes 100-500 an hour because of his experience. I would have never guess since he blends in with the crowd but after talking to him and get advice it did show the difference in the training mentality here vs europe.
My kids needs this! They are very talented but need the extra pointers to strengthen their spot on their team, which hopefully leads to scholarships in the future.
But how can we improve the American soccer system??
Do you offer sessions remotely?
My coach is an English dude from an academy(forgot which one)

How does ur program work
I know you’re plugging what you do as coach in this video as well but I really really hope people don’t miss what you’re actually saying about what is wrong with our structure and coaching system in this country! We are finally catching up with the rest of the world when it comes to first team national players on the biggest stages but I agree with you 100% that we are still lacking the emphasis on grassroots and the pay for play structure we currently have in the US! Doesn’t help our players and most definitely doesn’t help our coaches!
Sorry rant over 😅
I definitely want some help with my game. How do you do that specifically?
Oh wow that’s insane, I didn’t know that about the United States
