To be fair, Barthez was in goal and he was shocking.

I was at this game and stood at stretford end and new in that moment i had witnessed one of hte great performances from a player that should of been better than any player and since.. sadly injuries meant this was almost a swan song from him, so glad i got to see him playe

The most devastating player to play the game and a popular and likeable character as well. Everyone loves R9. There have been many truly great players over the years but peak Ronaldo I believe stands alone. He wasn't just an incredible player, he was a force of nature (before his injuries).

Era como si los dioses del fútbol hubieran invadido a los dos equipos para dar un espectáculo que no vemos ahora en la Champions actual.
