What was the red card for in the 20th minute?
Was there at the game, just wanted to see why the coach was escorted off the sidelines. But also, this video is missing all the fighting on the field. Paid for a Soccer game, got a boxing match. (Not that bad but ya)
The officiating in this match was horrendous!!! Atlante is lucky they weren't playing with 9 by the end of the match. A clear red card challenge on Luna from behind in the 77' and then the swing through hit to the face of Sanabria in the 91'…there should be disciplinary action against both the players who committed these fouls and the officiating crew/VAR for missing them. You know the officiating is BAD when the commentators are even calling it out during the broadcast.
Real Salt Lake was accurate, emphatic, energised, majestic & mesmerizing to dominate Atlante FC, in every angles..
Booth has scored a world class goal. That was fabulous & emphatic..✨️
1:04 I really don’t understand why the Atlante coach was pissed about this play. It clearly shows the RSL player got the ball first and it was a clean play. Atlante I think was just a bunch of sore losers and couldn’t handle they got trounced by a better team. Case in point, the better team won in the end.

Totally unfair the way they didn't review RSL 1st goal but they did with Atlante's. RSL 1st goal was even worse, it could be even a red card.

that last goal is incredible. the distance and the angle make it so difficult to hit that shot. to hit it low with that swerve and power on it is such good technique.
This tournament is the only one that's actually fair for both leagues. 1. No altitude advantage for either side. 2. Plenty of MX fans in the US, (LAFC vs Chivas there were way more Chivas fans) and 3. Both leagues have played enough competitive games to compete fairly whereas when Concachampions begins, MLS hasn't played competitively for months while MX is already in Clausura, which is why when MX struggles in Leagues cup, MX fans make excuses that it's either rigged (unless when they win) or that they're not trying despite MX players making life and death slide tackles and crying anytime they get scored on lol.
Edit: Forgot to add that they also say they're at a disadvantage because MX players had to "travel" I.E. (sit in a plane for 1-2 hours), meanwhile Cape Verde can fly in from further away with no traveling fan base and no diaspora and score on Argentina and tie with Spain but MX teams are just so incapable of winning because they have to SIT in a plane, oh the horror , and MX fans somehow think that's worse than a literal lack of red blood cells and shortness of breath that MLS players would have to endure (aside from "tRaVeL") due to higher altitudes and no friendly MLS fan base (unlike the massive Mexican diaspora in the US) if half of the games of this tournament were played in Mexico. Sore losers is what you guys are. lol
In 2027, the schedule changes permanently for MLS and Concachampions will now be fair for both sides because MLS will have several competitive games under its belt before it begins, and I expect MLS will cook more often with the players it now has and with projected higher salaries under Larry Berg.
This might all be too complicated for the mind of an MX fan, but we all know this tournament is legit and the crying faces of the MX players after conceding a goal or after every losing game where they played like sweats is the biggest point of evidence. 🤣
