Nashville FAILS to Score All Their PKs in Shootout

The 1-1 scoreline would stand through the rest of regulation and two periods of extra time, with neither side managing to find a winner despite some half-chances both ways.

That set the stage for Blake’s heroics during the ensuing penalty-kick shootout, as the standout Union backstop saved each of the first two shots from Mukhtar and Anibal Godoy. Santos also had saved his saved by Willis, but Alex Muyl and Walker Zimmerman each skied their attempts wide, allowing Philadelphia’s converted shots by Jack Elliott and Jack McGlynn to send them through.

  1. ok first up Blake is good nobody can get him but i call him doya well my dad too and hes good but they both have covid ughhhh blake is gone the best goaly everrrrr
    ahhhhhhh

  2. Not enough characters in the title length to say "penalty kicks" ? Painfully cringe-worthy acronym. Limits your audience exposure as well since the rest of the world calls them… PENALTIES

  3. You know your team sucks at penalties when the winning team only score 2 of its penalties to win. Also, nuff respect to our very own Jamaican spider goalkeeper Blake; he just solidify his legendary status in Philly!!!!

  4. After Nashvilles third miss I was jumping so hard with my dad that I fell on my goddamn ankle and let me tell you, I almost fell on the guys head in front of me when that happened
