    For Ireland this is a dead rubber game and so is the next one away to Luxembourg.
    Losing at home to Luxembourg in the second qualifier killed any creditability that Kenny had .
    Ireland are set for a disastrous 4th place finish in this the weakest of all the 10 Qualifying Groups.
    Kenny will not get Ireland to a major finals.
    Kenny's excuse about Ireland's failure to qualify or to mount a meaningful challenge for the play offs is that he was always aiming for Euro 2024.
    This nonsense excuse is shades of Stephen Staunton's 4 year plan and Stan took Ireland down a cul De sac road to nowhere before the FAI belatedly pulled the plug on him.
    We all know Stephen Kenny is whistling in the wind about his 4year plan as he has no hope of ever getting Ireland to a major finals.
    Time for Ireland to bring in a Quality fearless coach who will play a sustained high press game.
    Kenny is NOT the Answer to Ireland's continual failure to get to World Cup finals.
    Our Qualifying Campaign has been dreadful beyond belief inept to the core.
    Kenny babbling on about Euro 2024 is the rantings of a manager who has no clue how to get Ireland goalscoring . One guy up front centrally won't cut the mustard against Portugal that is obvious as it did not work in the home game against Luxembourg.
    Kenny should step down and return to the league of Ireland.

    I know it won't happen because Stephen will have his pecking order of players in the squad, but Will Keane should be thrown in from the start against Portugal. He is a big lad and can win a few balls in the air to possibly knockdown for Robinson or whomever. It is not fashionable but route one football may be the only way we stand a chance against such a talented team as Portugal.
