Best Salvadorian ever
The MLS has come a long way as far as the games speed and overall quality. But in his prime Mauricio Cienfuegos could have played in any team of the top teams in Europe and south American. He is truly as someone else commented a field general indeed .

Cien the "sparkplug" showed LA and MLS how beautiful, "the beautiful game" can be played. Quality strikers mean nothing w/o amazing field generals like Cien, Valderama, "el Diablo, Preki…. MLS wouldn't be where it is 2day w/o them
