  1. 3 changes and CR7 is in your team. It took me 5min to get CR7 in there. Carra either hates Ronaldo or is a halfwit. I think both xD
    Cafu Ferrara Kohler Alaba
    Seedorf Deschamps Gerrard
    Messi Eto'o CR7
    Sub:Dmitri Alenichev

  2. Ronaldo has the most goals, the most assists, the most golden boots, and the most winners medals in Champions league history.

He should be the first name on the team sheet in a Champions League 11. Carragher doesn’t pick him for anything just because he used to play for Man Utd.

He’s only picked Ferguson so he doesn’t have to pick a Man Utd player in his squad.

  3. Somehow Carra manages to sneak Gerrard into every 11 he creates, but struggles to keep the likes of Ronaldo, Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Scholes, Pirlo off the team. One of them actually happens to be the tournament's greatest ever player.

  4. Fergie won the UCL twice, as good as he was. Ancelotti from his Milan days would be fine. Point is Ronaldo runs the UCL. Eto'o wasn't even Inter Milan's best player when they won, it was Diego Milito. Strange choices if you ask me.

  5. Real's biggest influence in their three peat was probably Ramos. The two out of the three finals where Ronaldo went missing he stepped up. Should be well ahead of Hierro in the pecking order (as good as Hierro was).

  6. GK: Petr Cech (Chelsea, Czech Republic)
    RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool, England)
    CB: Lucio (Inter, Brazil)
    CB: Matthias Sammer (Dortmund, Germany)
    LB: David Alaba (Bayern, Austria)
    DM: Didier Deschamps (Marseille, France)
    CM: Clarence Seedorf (Ajax, Netherlands)
    RW: Lionel Messi (Barcelona, Argentina)
AM: Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus, Italy)
LW: Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United, Portugal)
CF: Andriy Shevchenko (AC Milan, Ukraine)
    Sub: Dmitri Alenichev (Porto, Russia)
Coach: Vicente Del Bosque (Real Madrid, Spain)

I was hesitant on including Alenichev as I had no clue who he was until I played a "UCL final goalscorer" quiz (and he didn't even start), but if you're going to pick the Porto player as the substitute, you might as well pick a non-Portuguese guy.
Anyone wondering why I picked Trent: the '2" and '3' were fixed and I thought about picking Gerrard, which would have meant Cafu or Maicon at RB, but with the nationalities of the Inter and AC GK and CB being Brazilian, Italian and Argentinian (Samuel), that wouldn't have worked. The only other option would have been picking Carragher😂😂

  7. Jamie is wrong about Ronaldo, but unfortunately bang on about Zidane. The only two non-Frenchman to start for Marseille were Voller and Pele. Voller would then block almost all the Dortmund team, which includes Hitzfeld as manager (won it both with Bayern and BVB) and Ballon d'Or winner Matthias Sammer (also EURO 96 Golden Ball). This is probably the best XI I could come up with Zidane:

    peruzzi
    cafu Sammer Terry alaba
    Seedorf alonso
    pele messi ronaldo
    Etoo
    Sub: Alenichev, Zidane manager

What's more annoying is that you can't include Maldini cause the only non-Italian in the Juve team that is worth considering here is Deschamps

  8. Alex Ferguson won 2 champions leagues and Carlo Ancelotti won 3 champions leagues so why isn’t everyone moaning about Ancelotti not being picked as manager. I’ll tell you why it’s because your all a bunch of biased Man Utd fans.

  9. wow has he realy snubbed cr7 😂 this guy. ronaldo most assists most goals only player in cl history to score in every group stage game most knockout stage goals most away goals wtf am I missing something 🤦‍♂️
