    Footballing levels have surpassed the celt potential. Unless Sots and Irish produce world class players, theyre never going to progress. In 1990 you could get away with hoofing it long, but you have to evolve as England and Wales have, and invest in young players. Iceland and Finland have better trained players, its embarrassing. The FA of all 3 nations should be ashamed. Its so tedious watching them play.

    Finally toothless inept Ireland bow out of the Euros after squandering a 3rd chance to Qualify for the Euros!
    Failure to win even one of the 4 games against Denmark and Switzerland meant you always had that sinking feeling that we could not beat Slovakia!
    Truly our away competitive record in terms of wins is awful so it's no surprise that Ireland are once again bottlers and chockers when it comes to the big stage!
    Also under Stephen Kenny we are 4 competitive matches without a victory and three without a goal !
    Finland up next on Wednesday but we certainly will not win away that's for sure!
    3,000 euros bet on Finland not to lose at odds of 1/3 is a very safe bet with a net profit of 1,000 euros!
    With the way Ireland are playing we can't hit row z never mind the net it has never been easier to get 1,000 off the bookies!!
    Yes my 3,000 stake is safe and a nice tasty profit of 1,000 to boot as a profit!!
    There's no chance of me losing that bet because Finland would have to lose and that ain't happening with Ireland completely out of scoring form and Kenny does not know how to get us scoring!!

    Every Irish football fan needs to get their head out of their arse and realise that Ireland aren't back. The players we've got are immensely better than the Slovaks, Kenny has to get criticism I'm sorry but you can't go from a pub league manager to international, you can't. We need to get a manager in to play football, we've needed it for a long time, if you enjoy 0-0 Ireland every week then fair enough but we're going fucking backwards. #Kennyout

    Congratulations Slovakia! See you in Euro next year. Ireland played really well and it's always sad to lose in penalties but keep your head up, you could very well make it to Qatar, very impressive play.

    Play 3 at the back! Both Enda Stevens and Matt Doherty perform better and Wingbacks. Adding to that having two right foot Centerbacks makes our game so predictable.
