Please, can anyone tell me how many of these clubs were more successful before Pep came there than when Pep was there? May be Bayern?For instance, how many trophies had Man city won before Pep came there? You think the management of these clubs would hire him, If they didn't know he was special and would deliver. Fact is, Pep has never managed a side with either average or aging first teamers. He's almost always had a big squad with world class talent in their relative primes. He has also never stayed long enough at a club to recycle and rebuild the squad.

It almost looks, dare I say, deliberate. I can't believe it's a lack of confidence when they've repeatedly grabbed leads. It's as though someone throws a switch to the OFF position. They no longer extend a lead, but instead concede, concede and concede. I feel like something is going on behind the scenes that we are no privy to. Yes, they have several players who are getting older and worn out from all of the games they've had to play, but this scenario has played out too consistently and all of a sudden since December. Perhaps Pep tried to hold onto an aging winning side far too long or someone said something in the dressing room that has caused issues. Or maybe Pep's recently announced personal issue has played a role in the sudden loss of form.
