What a performance from Wolfsburg, quite the response to getting no goals or points from the first two rounds of fixtures, plenty of goals for me commentate on! Rebecka Blomqvist had only scored one goal ever in the Champions League before tonight, but got the matchball tonight with a hat-trick! Worth saying that before that Joelle Wedemeyer headed in her first ever Champions League goal in her 38th appearance! Tough for Galatasary, but worth remembering that the Turkish Champions had an incredible journey to even get into the group stage, and have been handed an incredibly tough draw, so will learn a lot from their first ever European campaign. These two sides meet again in matchday 4 In Germany, with Wolfsburg looking for another win to chase Roma and Lyon in a three-horse race for being the two to qualify from Group A.
