I love both Clint and Landon for different reasons but Clint is that dude 💯 He is American as they come and the fans loved how he left it out on the field and him challenging his self in Europe.
Dempsey played with the kinda DAWG mentality and tenacity that you need when you are facing players who are playing like their lives and the lives of their loved ones solely revolve around that little round ball. That’s probably because he’s one of the few US players who rose from a trailer park to the heights of the game. DAWGS recognize DAWGS. You can’t fake that kind of hunger.

It's Dempsey by a mile
Brad Friedel was a better goalkeeper than Tim Howard in my opinion and Dempsey was better than Pulisic but that would be the Mount Rushmore for USA footballers. Dempsey would be number 1 then it would be Pulisic then Brad Friedel and then Tim Howard. Dempsey was way more consistent when he was in the premier league with Fulham he was there best player and they even won the Europa League trophy beating the likes of Juventus which is crazy for a clue like Fulham and that was down to Dempsey he was a boss player 👌 I'm Irish and I'm a Chelsea fan so I watched a lot of pulisic and I loved him for us was actually gutted we got rid of him and didn't understand why we got rid of him he just lacked consistency but on his day he could win you the game on his own. He could easily beat 2,3 defenders, now his final product was questionable at times. He missed a lot of chances and should have had way more goals than he did same goes for the assists his passing wasn't great or would take too many touches and the pass wouldn't be on so that's why I would have Dempsey over Pulisic 💪
Is this an old video? Christian is categorically better on the European front which is all that matters. Not saying Dempsey isn’t great, just not the greatest.

Even if i find Pullisic overrated, he still has an UCL under his belt. Sorry, Dempsey is probably only third for a US football player, behind tim howard and of course Pullisic.
