  1. I think Cameroon is beating Morocco

  11. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ Cameroon is the second-most successful team in the history of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with five titles, that councided with Issa Hayatou's leadership at the Confederation of African Football (CAF).His leadership saw significant growth in the tournament and African football's global standing, including periods of Cameroonian succes . The period between the 1980s and early 2000s marked a dominant era for Cameroon, during which they secured four of their five titles during his time as CAF president . All together cameroon won the title five times (1984, 1988, 2000, 2002, 2017), making them second only to Egypt in total wins, and have reached the finals seven times, appearing in several consecutive finals during the 80s and early 2000s, solidifying their legacy as "The Indomitable Lions". Meanwhile, The Cameroonians, Issa Hayatou's Leadership of CAF was the fifth and longest-serving president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), holding the position for 29 years from 1988 to 2017. His tenure was marked by both significant development and controversy, but he undeniably transformed African football:
Expansion of Competitions: Hayatou oversaw the expansion of the AFCON final tournament from 8 teams to 16 teams, providing more opportunities for nations to compete. He also introduced youth and women's championships.
Increased World Cup Representation: He successfully advocated for an increase in Africa's guaranteed spots at the FIFA World Cup, rising from two teams in 1990 to five by 1998.
Global Recognition: During his presidency, African teams achieved historic results, including Cameroon reaching the World Cup quarter-finals in 1990 and winning the Olympic gold medal in 2000. He was also instrumental in bringing the World Cup to South Africa in 2010, the first time it was held on the African continent.
Financial Growth: CAF's finances significantly improved under his leadership, growing from $1.25 million to $130 million in the black by the time he left office.
While Hayatou's leadership coincided with much of Cameroon's success, particularly in the 1990 and 2000s, his role as CAF president was as an administrator for the entire continent, focused on general growth and global standing, rather than directly managing the Cameroonian national team's performance.

  12. When it comes to Morocco, thereโ€™s a higher chance they lose against Tanzania than any of the other top teams. Morocco can only be stopped, held back, and drawn into penalties through a low to mid block. If you play an open game against them, you are absolutely going to lose. Mali drew against them through the most horrid example of haramball and 8 yellow cards on their side, playing one of the dirtiest games Iโ€™ve seen in a while. Comoros tried haramball but they werenโ€™t too haram, so the Moroccans still won easily. Then Zambia needed 3 points, so they tried a higher line and they got absolutely wrecked. Tanzania will try a low block as well, and they may get it to penalties. But like I said, Senegal will try to go toe to toe and lose against Morocco. They donโ€™t have the same depth, speed, and technicality.

  13. These guys can call Senegal the best team in the tournament, but we all saw how well the DRC outplayed them. Nonesess!! Senegal is not the best team in this tournament.

  14. Funny how these folks believe DRC or Algeria will knock out Nigeria if they meet in the quarter finals. Write off Nigeria at your own peril .
