  1. No matter what team you support, these two are absolutely class and glad we’ve got them on our screens for years to come. When these retire it will feel similar to when Jeff sterling left sky

This is exactly what I was saying about Carra to a mate- he might have been technically deficient and ridiculously singularly footed-the own goals aside, I think that hop skip hoof he did infuriated many of us Reds, especially considering just the sheer class of VVD nowadays- but his reading of the game is what gave him a long career and I rank that trait of him among the greats such as Baresi and Der Kaiser.

    Knew where the ball was going, knew where the man was always- now whether he could reach one or both is another matter (see Istanbul 05 and Kaka's pass for reference) but by Fowler, his reads were excellent.
