  1. Wiebe, you don’t get to hmmm-and-haw about “clear and obvious” anymore after previous supportive comments this season when VAR had ZERO conclusive evidence of a violation yet still sent it for review. The phantom/circumstantial offensive handball in Wk1 comes to mind immediately.

  2. 3:57 I believe it is clear and obvious offside, because any part of the attacker's body that can legally score a goal is the determining factor for offside. While the front of his body could POSSIBLY be onside, the sole of his trailing foot appears to be clearly further from the 18yd line than any part of the last defender is

  3. On the Portland offside, Andrew! I know the angle that you have is not ideal, but does that mean the VAR doesn’t have an ideal angle? No. The VAR must have had an angle that made it clear and obvious to them, and that should be respected!

  4. Heel and then knee to the small of the back, and no call?? There you go! Hagglund injured last year by Latte Lathe and ZERO call there too! PRORefs are complicit!

  5. So… stepping on a guy's heel isnt a foul? I had the same initial reaction, that there wasnt enough there for a foul, but now that youre showing me that slowed down, that's absolutely a foul anywhere on the pitch

  6. When Ramiro slid, Córdova jumped past the ball and turned around to take the slide instead of playing the ball? Ramiro pulled up well before the contact and wouldn’t have hit Córdova had he not jumped into the slide on the complete other side of ball. Maybe he saw that as endangering Ramiro, not the other way around.

  7. Crazy how MLS isn't using that Messi money to implement semi automated offsides and goal line technology. Instead it just seems to be going to…. making more promotions for Messi?

  8. Cincinnati fan here and yeah, Denkey had both yellows coming. He was frustrated all match long and uncharacteristically lost his cool.

  9. Nothing brings me more joy than when players not on my team double down on their anger management issues to get that second yellow card immediately after the first. Always gonna make me smile.
