  1. If this was in another league, idiots would say it's a farmers league and that's why he could run like that without anyone stopping him.

  2. Gives me goosebumps reading these comments, because i havent seen one bad comment… Even if u didn't like City at the time u loved to see Ya making one of his spectacular runs. Ya was truly a machine for a midfielder & a presence that all midfielders should try to emulate.

  3. I remember the 13/14 season. It looked like Liverpool were destined to win the league that year. Suarez was doing incredible things with the ball at his feet. Sturridge was a number 2 striker who was having a better season than most number 1s. Gerrard had assists galore. Even Sterling, Coutinho and Henderson came to the party.

Yaya Toure said, "not on my watch." That man won games for City so often. He was an unstoppable force that season. Turns out, Liverpool were a very moveable object.

  4. 10 times better than kdb ever was
Not just put the ball in the box and getting assists , or score goals
Kdb was good but no comparison to this guy
Press resistance , could operate under pressure etc
Most complete midfielder maybe in the prem
Sadly these stat merchants have taken over football
