Whoever thinks that was a red card is a snowflake. They should be watching ballet. Soccer is a contact sport and nothing about that contact was malicious or could in any way harm the player. Horrible ref decision.

First Araujo and then Xavi's red card. After that why not to take off Lewandowski instead of Yamal..even that I'm Polish, that was the only reasonable solution. Full defence and it may have worked

As someone with Spanish roots, huge fan of Xavi and Barcelona… I have to completely disagree with Xavi. Araujo went in like a stupid. It was a red card, case closed. I understand Xavi is frustrated. 11 vs 11 Barcelona could have gone to semi finals. But unfortunately Araujo messed up. Gundogan gave a clear non emotional assessment of what happened. Xavi is just completely under control of his emotions. Spanish teams are often disadvantaged by the referee but not this time, Xavi.

Everyone can be angry or emotional at moments like that once in a while. Everybody can make a mistake. Xavi’s whining on the other hand is decades old, and i love his creativity for childish excuses 😂

The red card shouldn't have never happened. He called the foul & that was enough. From there on watching the game was senseless & PSG went on to score 3 more goals as Barcelona played with only 10 players. Bad Ref!!

Yeah this is exactly why we aren’t at our old level. Blaming the refs for loosing a 4-2 advantage is crazy.
Xavi wants to protect and defend his team and players, but in few days, after reviewing the game, he will change his mind. Araujo & Cancelo mistakes + Enrique good gameplan were the real reason of the result.
Its a shame PSG made it out of the groupstage
