  1. He doesn’t need to do anything like Real Madrid he needs to do xabi alonso because right now that’s working! So happy to see a new fresh manager on the scene got to watch him from Liverpool onwards in his playing days

  2. People in the comments just dont get what he is saying 🤦‍♀
He is comparing the "fight" in Leverkusen to Real Madrid, not their playing style. Which are vastly different.
BL keep fighting for goals till the last second even with a 2 goal difference and force a draw or victory in added time, Which other team is famous for doing this? Yes, RM.

    Compare their most recent games:
Stanisic scored for Leverkusen in the last minute of added time to save the 49 game unbeaten run.
Whereas Joselu scored 2 within 5 minutes to come from behind and win against Munich.

  3. the difference between Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen this season is that RM adapts their tactics to their current opponent and Bayer Leverkusen forces their opponent to adapt to Xabis style of play

  4. Noooo. Big difference. Leverkusen wins late deserved. They dominate the other team. Real wins late undeserved out of nowhere by huge opponents mistake after they were dominated

  5. Has he actually seen how Real plays and how Bayer plays? One is defensive most of the time with exceptional quick turnovers after winning the ball while the other plays high speed, high accuracy attacking football.

  6. Madrid only developed that ethos and that spirit after Xabi Alonso had already left the club in 2014. That Leverkusen team is an expression of his own spirit and ethos, has nothing to with Real at all.
