Wrexham have a very feeble hold on the crucial sixth position, while Middlesbrough need a favorable combination of results to be promoted right away.

  1. We came from the national league….ive been watching since then. The fact we ended “high” in the championship means alot to me. Next year it will come. So proud of WREXHAM and everyone around them. WREXHAM WREXHAM, WREXHAM.

  2. Wrexham had so many opportunities to take that one. They had players who couldn't take first-time shots when they should have and players who took first-time shots and couldn't get them on target. Ultimately, that sort of thing tends to be the difference between teams that get promoted and teams that don't. Better luck next year, fellas!

  3. Now look back at your own personal comment before this season about Wrexam performance prediction. Honestly look at your own comment from a year ago and tel me you had them at top 7. I would expect 95% or higher to have them mid table (I have been reading comments). This performance in 25/26 season was exceptional!

  4. So glad this freaking club didn't make it. They are promoting this 4th tier club as if they are RM, Barcelona, Milan or Liverpool !
Hopefully they will never make it with hollywood ownership.

  5. Everyone wanted Ward over Okonkwo so badly, how'd that work out? That first goal was very poor by him, and the second showed the embarrassing defending of the center backs that was the true problem all along.

  6. I don’t think they would have won the playoff anyway… but I hoped they get a chance…. Good luck next year…. I hope they get 1st or 2nd .

  7. Wrexham probably needs 2 more years to truly give a good run in the EPL. But they always prove everyone wrong so who knows. What a great season from their end. Many didn’t have them ending at 6th place.

  8. I happy that Wrexham won’t be in playoffs for the Prem. They do not deserve to be. Stay in championship that’s where you belong Wrexham.

  9. Where are all the kids who said wrexam will advance through playoffs?
Staying in the league is actually beneficial to the team, finish the stand and get rid of some players (rodriguez is a must, lee, vyner, barnett, faal, hardie, revan etc)
Lets hope coach wont cheap out on mediocre players again

  10. K. Moore, a tiny bit of composure at the end combined with the fact he had many players running up with him. Way to turn a great last chance into a disgraceful attempt 20 meters of target..

  11. Wrex need one more year to acclimate and practice for EPL. There is such a thing as rising too fast…..if they would have gone through to playoffs and then to PL they probably would not have been fully ready and maybe get embarrassed and relegated right back….

  12. Wrexham blew it, and didn't deserve it, plain and simple. Win and in from this game on and then in the playoffs.
This was essentially the start of their playoff to the EPL and they controlled their own destiny. Maybe next year lads.

  13. Get ready for some financial woes. Misallocating taxpayer money for their new stand, diverting funds for their TV production, featuring as extremely biased announcers on a neutral telecast for a DERBY – they’ve done a lot of damage to their image this season.
