I was a semi pro soccer player back in college and won a contest by making a 50 yard field goal on my first try ever. So yes I would definitely agree with this
as a soccer player turned kicker i can confirm this can be true in some cases
I argue that he was a great soccer player. He just wasn't in the 1% of the 1%.. so glad he made it in football. But to make it in soccer which is a sport, the entire world plays. Almost impossible to do.
