  1. one of the most pointless bits of analysis going, I don't know what points were made or what anyone can take away from what those 3 just said

  2. We don't want him. For many reason.

    1) His wage. He would easily be the highest paid player by 250%. That just wont do. That would make others demand more. We could not justify paying him more than say Raul or Patricio.

    2) His charisma. He is known to cause problems and have an attitude. The same thing that was rumoured to be the reason for Cutrone being palmed off on loan so quickly. Nuno doesn't like players that don't have the right attitude.

    3) His age. We got Moutinho for a steal but so far all our signings bar him haven't been as old as Costa. With the first 2 points added to this… Why would we?

    4) FFP. We cannot afford to pay his high wages at that would mean being stuck with him. I am assuming we want to spend in summer. £250k p week is 3 good players if we play the market well. If we go for Costa it would mean a min 12 month contract and so would mean being stuck with his wage.

    5) We need back up. We aren't after someone for just the rest of the season. We need back up full time, despite what press are claiming. We are wanting a loan cause that is how we do things. We loan and then buy if good enough: Like Raul and Neto. We would prefer to loan someone now and then if not good enough be able to hunt in the summer for a back up for Raul.

There are so many more points I could go into… But the main one should be that one of the most trusted Wolves reporters, who tends to get these things right and be the first to announce new players – even saying exactly when that player will be announced – has said this aint happening and to be surprised if Wolves bring in anyone as they are opting to wait until summer for the exact reasons ive stated. But why would sky actually do any real journalism?

I mean these are the guys that think Sancho, Gilmore and Rice are the future of England… LOL. Three players that would struggle to get into the women's team.

  3. Really they need a striker to replace Jimenez while out injured and more options and Costa is a animal in the perm suites him way more than la liga with how physical it is he’d suit them
