  1. It just shows how superior spurs are in every way. West ham and arsenal spent ยฃ100m on players who are average at best. To finish around mid table. Spurs spend nothing, keep their best players and improve young players to challenge the first 11. Thatโ€™s a coaches job isnโ€™t it? Improve players. Not buying when they feel a player isnโ€™t good enough. If a player isnโ€™t good enough then the coach is a failure.

  2. How dumb can people be? Tottenhamโ€™s squad depth is insane. And yes they have not made any signings, but they havenโ€™t lost any of their players either.
They havenโ€™t failed to replace a top player because they didnโ€™t lose any like Madrid lost Cristiano, and Iโ€™d definitely expect signings in the winter transfers from spurs.

  3. The stadium will pay for itself I expect spurs to invest wisely in january or next season. But I think kane will leave if they don't win anything this year but they will get great money for him to reinvest in more to young players.

  4. Actually, they tried to sell Bale for 2.5 million pounds as a rubbish left back and no one wanted him… Then he turned into a decent Winger and went for Bank roll

  5. Levy knows Spurs will always be 10 years behind Arsenal. Arsenal built a new stadium YEARS ago and win trophies sometimes. Spurs are WAY behind.

  6. Useless. Only a Levyite could lick Levy's arse so much. Yes Spurs have done well and are doing well, but Levy has been chairman for SIXTEEN years. What have Spurs done in that time?

  7. I honestly think that if they drop a single position in the table, compared to last year, then Pochettino will be sacked. That being said it seems like every other month that I think he'd be sacked

  8. Spurs has a young team too. They don't have to buy players to improve the squad. Training and time will improve the squad. They can save up for next year and then potentially replace some older or underperforming players with superstars.

  9. Good old Spurs….all this got to buy new players rubbish has got out if hand, they have a good team and squad and they will be there or there abouts again.

  10. Spurs did well the last couple of seasons… but unfortunately every team around them improved… they'll be last out of the big 6

  11. the only thing i can think of is that they coulnt afford players with the new stadium.. or they have a bunch of young players that are coming up this season.

  12. Half of this "debate" was laughing about prior deadline days because no one wants to address the fact that it could be disastrous for Tottenham to go into the season without any new players, if this was Chelsea not making any signings it would be "meltdown"

  13. 1. Yep do a transfer stories series – where we learn from the players, what really happened. 2. and Craig, i'm down for a Daniel Levy love hour … that guy is phenomenal

  14. What's Real Madrid, or any top La Liga club for that matter, going to do with Harry Kane?
He's exceedingly average skills wise and not exactly marketable character.

  15. Since the player they were linked to was Grealish, Iโ€™d suggest they maybe do have a youth player that would be as good in 6 months to a year.
