  1. I guess Jones sees the demise of Schalke and him continuing to play in European cup competitions. He still has a lot to offer. Come to Chicago!!! Our midfield is SHIT. Jones can score goals when it matters too. I've seen him in action against tough opposition.

  2. I think it would be good because if he comes before the World Cup, then the USA team might play better because he would have played with many of his teammates for a longer time

  3. Great statement. Glad to have fingers pointed at mls. Higauin, lamps, and now Jones with great things to say. Top Players and coaches looking stateside is great. Its a bluff no doubt. Great for mls and the
    Usmnt

  4. He should go to Seattle. Sounder really f up when they picked IP Joseph. Plus there are some AM. International and future international, he can help groom.

  5. I dunno about this. I mean, I'm all for the positive growth of MLS and making it a more competitive league, internationally recognized, blah blah blah. But lets be honest, when it comes to a player who is playing UCL football at age 32 and is still wanted by that European team, I think it would be moving backward in terms of keeping him sharp, etc.

HOWEVER, if somehow Jermain in his mind "needs" this to truly feel/be more American (and somehow make him play better), then fuck it go for it!

  6. Whhaaaaaatttt, is Jermaine serious?…no disrespect to MLS, but if a top club like Shalke wants to renew your contract…but you'd rather come to MLS……….I repeat, WHAAAAAATTTTT??!?!? 😮 maybe he should come on summer loan, not a full transfer.

  7. Interesting. Will Orlando City SC have to have a guarantee from city and county officials to help pay for a new stadium? If it is added as MLS' newest franchise, what will that mean to the Queens effort? And what about realignment?
