Okay I have a few issues here. First, lets not ignore their pre-season struggles such as their ugly loss to Arsenal, barely beating 3. Liga Essen, and only drawing Lens and Betis as well as how bad their EL Final loss vs. Atalanta was. Even the Stuttgart game had to go to penalties. Not smooth sailing whatsoever.
Second, losing Hlozek is not a problem as he was 3rd choice up top, plus they sold him for 5 mil more than they bought him despite his disappointing performances. Stanišić was also a rotational player so they'll be fine without him. Plus new signings Garcia and Terrier really need to step it up if they're going to have a positive impact this season.
Third, I absolutely the fuck am sleeping on Dortmund like what? This is the most sleeping on Dortmund time ever. They're a total mess right now and had such a bad preseason. Super inexperienced and unproven manager, highly politicized climate amongst those running the club. Just not seeming like its gonna be a good season for Dortmund at all.

Leverkusen obviously had qualities last season, but that doesn't guarantee them more success this season, that has happened to so many miracle stories, take Newcastle United, finished in a UCL spot in the 22/23 season and bottled everything in the next, Napoli, won the Serie A in the 22/23 season and finished 10th in the next, Sevilla, won Europa League then bottled literally everything in the next season, Brighton, got European football in the 22/23 season, finished 11th the next season
A miracle story does not guarantee another one in upcoming seasons, players might lose form, the club might sell their best players, and possibly bottle everything
