  1. So it's possible to pay a top manager to come to the USMNT but then there's "the politics of it"? "You start running into walls"? "The reality is a completely different story that a lot of people don't know and don't understand".

There is so much wrong and are so many questions with what Brian McBride said in these quotes that it's hard to stomach as a USMNT fan. Will someone on this show ask for clarification?!? What kinds of walls do we run into when trying to hire the best USMNT manager possible? What kind of politics are involved when trying to hire the best manager for the USMNT? Please clarify what that different story is that we, the masses, don't know or understand when it comes to hiring the USMNT coach?

What Brian is alluding to and implying is that the USSF is more interested in something else other than the success of our national team. That's the implication here and if that's not the case, then we need some clarification. I hope we get that clarification some day.

  2. Moore being able to do any job better than Scally is ridiculous. Scally was by far away the best defender we had Saturday!! Of course he’s not dest going forward but he shouldn’t be asked to be. Let him stay back and defend. Jesus Christ it’s not that complicated

  3. Tbh as former players im surprised how low their football IQ is, i mean any regular average football fan for their teams know that friendlies aremt actually friendlies, its hilarious they keep saying their focus is wc26 when they cant even do well in these friendlies, copa america is your trial run to the world cup and its not looking promising, if you cant do well in copa america forget about wc26, good luck getting out of the group stage in this copa, i wouldnt be surprised if brasil does 7-0 😂😂

  4. McBride came right out and said that Berhalter is there because of politics, and that's why his seat won't even be warm regardless of what happens in the Copa.

I wish Jimmy would have challenged him on that a little more and advocated for some realistic accountability instead of fixating on why they won't hire Klopp.

  5. Not catastrophic changing the scheme if it is played right with the right players. And, do not forget they have done it before with the interim coach. 3-5-2 or even 4-4-2/4-5-1 works if the main reason is disrupting any opponents attack or counter-attack. I'd love 3-5-2 and exploit Brazil perennial weakness which is their defense line.

  6. I agree with a lot thats been said, eapecially that this team has to switch it up and be able to go vertical, its ridiculous how slow and monotonous this system can be at times. More aggression and yes to Musah to to midfield, Reyna up top and Weah to rb

  7. Reyna, Mckennie, and scally are the engine in the U.S. if one of these guys are out, someone will get injured. You need these guys in especially when pulisic and balugon don't run to pressure. I would say same team without Tim ream and please don't bring Carter vickers. He doesn't look like he's inserted in the game. He's just lost.

  8. 13:57 McBride is a joke. To think that Joe Scally is not good enough because he doesn't fit "Berhalter's system" means you should get rid of this incompetent, joke-of-a manager rather than Scally who is light years ahead of Robinson. No one calls them out. This podcast is a joke.

  9. Bro how does Brian McBride not know anything about the roster. Saying Johnny Cardoso doesn’t know how to make a line breaking pass???? Which he does…. Do you think Tyler Adam’s can? He is literally a destroyer (a good one) and not much more.

  10. Gregg has had 5 years to take this team to a higher level, Brian. Its never going to happen!! Let's stop f'n around. Go get Pellegrino Materazzo. Good coach, been successful in the Bundesliga for years with multiple different teams. The guy is a very competent manager. And the best part is he's American, he makes like 3 mil a year at hoffenheim, so surely we can afford him, and surely the guy would love to coach at a home World Cup for us. Say goodbye to Gregg after the Copa. That gives Materazzo 2 full years to work with the team heading into the WC.

  11. How can anyone honestly say Scaly doesn’t deserve to play RB, and also say Shaq Moore could do the job. Please tell me Brian has a dead pan sense of humor. Same for Robinson, he doesn’t offer much going forward either, and his crosses when he does are meh. It’s like Berhalter thinks he’s got Mbappe at wing back and Haaland as a target striker. 🙄

Also why tf are we holding back the men’s team for stupid woke BS.

  12. I wish US soccer was more serious. This is a lot of hooting and hollering and poor production quality. Hard to bring in new fans with lousy effort, cheeky humor. You're about to play Brazil.. This isn't a good look

  13. I've been watching Matt Turner play for Forrest And his problem isn't that he doesn't make good says, because he does make good saves, it's that he makes these bizarre blunders that just kind of outweigh the good saves he does make

  14. Stop blaming equal pay for why the men dont have a good manager. Its not true. US soccer has said that has nothing to do with what they pay Emma Hayes.

  15. So the USSF doesn't want to invest prior to what's going to be the biggest money making WC ever? Got it. Why are these people in the positions they're in running the federation? Jimmy is 100% right.

  16. Maybe we need to stop blaming GGG for his deficiencies and lack of tactics and start holding the leaders of USSF accountable? We have been terrible for almost 10 years now. What are we doing??!!!!
