I agree most of their success was built around spending more money than the rest of European with Barcelona because they didn’t share the TV money like the other leagues. Now in the last 5 years the Premier League is catching up to them financially they can no longer cherry pick the best Premier League players as they did for 20 years with higher salaries, so have been in decline for the last 5 years because when a old star like Benzema, Bale, Ronaldo, Modric and Kroos they can’t replace with the best players any more because they no have to compete for them with Premier League clubs. It is all marketing hype that Real Madrid are biggest club. Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd average far higher global TV viewers than Real Madrid and sell more shirts and TV companies know it is marketing BS when it comes to Real Madrid because they pay far more TV money to Premier League teams because they know they have the biggest global fan bases.
This match is 50/50 because the goal difference is just 1.
