  1. I mean, 17th because of a lot of player injuries (thus forcing some youth players to promote to the first team unexpectedly) and probably his style of play but it still worked. Meanwhile the consecutive bottlers… can't even dare to buy a striker, force even a winger to be one when it can't actually be. Healthy Tottenham would be an interesting team to see ideally. Then again, it's a dilemma for the owner for sure

  2. I’d rather be 17th n a europa league trophy than 2nd and still trophyless, whole point of the game is to win trophies not how close you were to winning something, arsenal are 5 years no trophies, in august they’re both on 0 points n playing champions league, a trophy up is definitely important, league position is fuck all unless you won or you get relegated, spurs have shown that finishing one spot above relegation zone yet they’ve got silverware n playing more European next season

  3. Yeah i agree and I’m a Chelsea fan, you can not take a pretty solid squad like the one that Tottenham have and leave them in 17th and still keep your job no matter what European trophy you won, even 11th would be unacceptable but 17th is crazy something i thought would never happen again

  4. But it also doesn't change the fact that arsenal were 2nd throughout the past three years and haven't even reached a final.

You're disgracing the Europa league but I'd honestly like to see arsenal try to win at least the conference league at this point.

  5. If Ange leaves does that solve thier problem? That's the question to ask here. They finished 17th but they're in the UCL next season regardless. So are they in a position to spend enough for a new manager to take control & do well? Will he have time to adjust? Cause not all managers start like Slot you know. Some need process, I like to believe in processes. I personally really like Ange as a coach, so I want to see him in charge of Spurs but they do need reinforcements, but if Ange stays then they'll need like 3-4 players sold & brought in & try to keep players fit, but if a new manager comes they might have to start from the scratch
