Why Nobody Can Stop Cole Palmer

Cole Palmer made Premier League history this past weekend, becoming the first player to score four goals in the first half of a match during Chelsea’s 4-2 win over Brighton at Stamford Bridge. Since he arrived at Chelsea, no player has been involved in more Premier League goals. @JamesLawrenceAllcott explores what sets Palmer apart as he quickly emerges as one of the most exciting players to watch week after week.

  1. After watching this, I now realized how much Enzo Maresca understand each of his player's capabilities. Not just Palmer, but other players as well. The way he utilized Jackson and Madueke to essentially form a single unit with Palmer is brilliant. And that was being achieved without forcing his players to do things they are not good at. Instead, Maresca provided a run of play in which his players already comfortable with.

  3. As a chelsea fan i realise that all of the signings that has given the biggest impact to chelsea (palmer, hazard, kante, costa) is never an expensive signing we sign them for 40M or less and all the players that we sign for huge amount of money (torres, lukaku, kepa) even caicedo and enzo didn’t really given us the impact that we hope for so maybe we should stop signing expensive players and just sign moderate priced players after this
