  1. I've gathered a bunch of news regarding his time at the club and it's reported he believed that because the Premier League is intense so should the training and when they were out performed they were punished with further intense training such as having to run the 8 miles Brentford had over Manchester United. This would explain rampant injuries and sluggishness from the players. His bouts with players further demoralised the team. They did not love playing for him or agreed with his coaching

  2. "however, the attacks struggled to use the ball well and break down stubborn defences"

its ridiculous how most fans blame ten hag when the players cant execute ten hag's tactics especially when (t)rashford has been rubbish all season and let the team go 10 vs 11 evrytime he plays

  3. Not tru it’s all about Ronaldo and his cult fans. I honestly think if he didn’t had a fall out with Ronaldo he would still be at the club.

  4. It's been an impossible job since Fergie left. Not just because "how do you follow that!?", but also the arrival of so many other ridiculous teams in England and abroad.

Throw in a bunch of different coaching staff etc with different approaches and players, a tonne of money (even if transfers were few, my god the wages) along with managers who didn't have the capital to stop the Glazers… Glazering…
That is a "perfect" storm for a "perfect" world.

  5. I support ETH. He did an amazing job CONSIDERING the situation around him. From players to media he had to deal with.

He is the fastest Manchester United manager to reach 20 competitive wins, achieving the feat in 27 games in first season. He helped to win carabao cup claiming man utd's first trophy since 2017 and finishing third place in league. also got to the 2023 FA Cup final but beaten by man city.

In second season, the team had many injuries resulting in inconsistent team lineup but finished in eighth place in league. The team won the FA Cup in that season beating man city.

  6. His 'tactical approach' was almost non-existent.
To have a good transitional team in the Premier League you still need some really strong, technically competent defensive midfielders. You can't just have a slow Casemiro paired up with Eriksen and Bruno floating around somewhere nearby. Other teams will just cut through you, as they always did.
Currently United should definitely have Ugarte and Casemiro working together, perhaps add Mainoo and keep Bruno further up front.

  7. Before Man Utd, Ten Hag was seen as a top manager after what he did with Ajax. After his first season when he won the Carabao Cup, reached the FA Cup final and finished 3rd in the league, he was seen as the fix but then after his second season people were calling for him to be sacked.

It’s so hard to manage Man Utd that even Jose Mourinho couldn’t bring them back
