    Did he just say arsenal played better then united in the united vs arsenal game? He did not watch that game. United should have won, but could not put away the chances. United played much better then arsenal, but lost.

    Sarri started the season not wanting to win the league. He said Manchester city and Liverpool are a level above Chelsea. This is why Chelsea fans say Sarri Out serial loser.

    I can feel Paul Merson's anger though. He is critical about Arsenal cos he loves the club really. I could see it in his eyes at the later stages when he talked about Arsenal playing to get into the top four. And I feel he is speaking to the current management. But I wouldn't think the players and manager will go into the season saying we aren't going to win the league. But I am quite sure the current management is just quite comfortable with top 4 finishes.

    These people forget that irrespective of Arsenal's consistency, we always finish the season strongly. And we are at a very good position compared to the past seasons. The mentality around the camp is also different. Anyways I live the way most people don't tip Arsenal for the top four. Will definitely make Emery's debut season a success when he does make the top four and hopefully maybe win the Europa.

    Paul Merson is such a bullshit pundit I’ve ever seen. Every team in EPL has a desire to win the league. But the problems is EPL is the most competitive league in the world. So, you can’t expect your team would win the league every season like in the farmer league PSG & La Liga Barcelona Madrid.

    Paul Merson is correct. Can anybody show me what a "Top 4 winners trophy" looks like??? You play sport to win, that's what competition is at the end of the day.
    How many people in this comments section have played sport to come 4th???
