  1. 1. Man city – 2022/23
    2. Man City – 2017/18
    3. Chelsea – 2004/05
    4. Arsenal – 2003/04
    5. Liverpool – 2019/20

    Honourable mentions – 1. Man United 2007-08
    2. Man United 1999/98
    3. Man City 2018/19
    4. Chelsea 2016/17

  2. what an embarrassing take from theo “this team would destroy the treble winning united team”. Realistically no one ever is “destroying” that utd team, whether u think to a smaller degree theyd “beat” them or not, “destroy” is an outrageous shout. In what world is a team with that 1-11 geting “destroyed”. One with schmeichel in goal, one with Keane in the middle as captain. The disrespect from the kid, clearly knows nothing about the game. Tryna talk like he knows what hes on about when all hes got is recency bias.

  3. 1. Man United 99 treble winning team.
    2. Man United 07/08.
    3. Arsenal's Invincibles.
    4. Chelsea 04/05.
    5. Liverpool 19/20.

Reason why I am not putting in City's Centurions, Fourmidables and Treble winners is because they have 115 charges pending. Everyone knows they cheated to get those achievements. And NO I am not a United fan.

  4. It's incredibly hard to compare players from such different times. It is a fact that players nowadays are commonly faster, stronger, and more technically sound than anyone from back then That's not to discredit anyone from then, but it's just because that's how the game has grown. Simple as that. So objectively speaking, if you strip away the names and accomplishments each of the old United players have and look at them as simply footballer #1, #2, etc, then I think that it's hard not to say that every single player in the City team makes it to the United team. Like I think Julian Alverez could realistically score 20 goals in that same United team. Not because I think Cole and York are bad (they scored 17 and 18 goals respectively), that's solely because the way that football is played now is just LEVELS higher than the way it was played 25 years ago.

  5. two games preventing liverpool from being in this convo(21/22)
one game preventing liverpool from being in this list(18/19)
if liverpool had won 3 games it would have solidified liverpool as the best team england has ever seen

  6. Rory says that Chelsea's defensive record of 15 will never be beaten so it must be 3rd. Yet, Arsenal won the league undefeated, and no one has never beaten it. People remember the Arsenal team, because they went the whole season undefeated and won it. No one thinks of Chelsea and only conceding 15 goals, it just isn't that memorable.

  7. Thogden saying the city team would smash the 99 United side mate for starters you wasn’t even alive to see it and the Madrid side city beat wasn’t the same Madrid that won it 3 times in a row United had to beat juventus and then Bayern Munich without Scholes and Keane in the team for the final
