In my opinion Baggio is the greatest italian football player ever.. But I can understand why they say Maldini.. The man played for 25 years at the highest level possible, he won 5 CL and reached 8 times the final, he played 4 times world cup (and he rejected to be in the 2006 national teem for respect or it would be 5 times).. I mean, it's very difficult to find a player with a better career than Paolo.. And then we're are Italian so we're known especially for our defensive players..
I'm not saying smehi is better who not, but, the only player that stayed at the same team all his career is Totti, there are many great Legends but he is something special ❤

Maldini and Pirlo were out of this planet, but I think I'd probably say that Buffon is the best goalkeeper I've ever seen, across world football (ahead of prime Schmeichel, Kahn or Neur). Which means he'd prob take number 1 spot for me.
