Problem is, the USMNT doesn’t have any meaningful games before the next WC. They can play all the friendlies they want, but they mean nothing. Hard to judge a teams world standing based on that. Top football managers want to be where the best competition is and that’s not in the US right now.
Klopp already turned it down. Losers in USSF will settle for a MLS coach again.
