  1. 2010 Donovan vs 2014 Jones? Seriously that's laughable. 2010 Donovan was in excellent form and while Jones was a workhorse getting the ball back that was because his pass completion percentage was so poor. Many times he could not get balls up to Dempsey to do anything of significance.

2014 is a much more athletic team but 2010 actually had more ability, and 2014 seemingly played defensively for 85% of all matches.

  2. A team without Donovan will be the better team. There isn't a player who is more overrated by Americans than Donovan. He's significantly less talented than many players of his generation. Thank god Beasley is the only American player to get in 4 World Cups, he actually deserves it. Landon Donovan never had the attitude necessary to be a real winner.

  3. In 2014 by far. We don't rely on one guy. We rely on the whole team. One day its Jones, the other its brooks or Dempsey or Gonzalez etc. I think we show lots of heart out there and have a better squad.
