  1. Interviewer – "You've been successful everywhere you've been".

So I wasn't bored to tears by his 6 months of turgid football at Reading then?

  2. Rodgers: “I’d have to say Xavi. So silky on the ball, wonderful intensity, character, and just a beautiful human being.”
Interviewer: “Not a bad answer. He did win the World Cup, many la ligas—”
Rodgers: “Oh sorry, I was referring to wee Joe Allen. To go into a team that was struggling then lift that whole team—”

  3. I know everyone likes to joke about him but he’s actually a good manager. Look at what he’s done at Swansea , Celtic and now Leicester. He got Sturridge and Coutinho for Liverpool and even got good results when Suarez wasn’t playing.
