  1. This coronavirus crap is gonna carry on through winter. It's happening for a reason. They want martial law the flu killed more people by this time last year than the coronavirus did this year wake the fuc up people

  2. The reasoning for curtailing the current season is based on things changing (covid wise) vastly for a new season to begin. Is this going to be the case, most likely not. Therefore why start a new season without finishing the last one in similar health conditions, it doesn't make sense.

  3. Points per game????
    So if Liverpool played arsenal
If u break down each individual game to finish the league
    Liverpool get 2.83points
    Arsenal get 1.43points
I personally thot we play for 3points per game
This game has a 4.26 points total
    Say Norwich played Aston villa
    Norwich 0.72
    Villa 0.89
    Total 1.61
    Where's the 1.39?????
    Just don't agree
    Null and void it
    To many issues

  4. i dont get what the issue is. it doesnt matter what team you support. we all wait until there is no more risk, to players, staff etc. only then can they play again. then they continue this seasons fixtures. whether thats in July, or November or next year. finish the games, then you can have a mini break for next season to start as normal…hopefully. Basically skipping the 2020/21 season altogether.

  5. There will be no football to finish off the season. This virus is going to be with us till well into next year. If I were a player I would be feeling as scared as hell at the prospect of being firced to play.
I would ttudg anything the uk government says. It is up to the medical experrs to give this the ok and I ask is it morally correct tostart playing a silly game when there are still people getting sick by the thousands and people dying by the hundreds everyday. The players will need 3 weeks of hard training to get the players back inti playing shape or thers will be injurues galore and as soon as june 30 huts contracts run out and you cannot have a player playing for one team for some games and then another team for the rest of the season. I think we are done till the 2021/22 season.

  6. They could end the season now with the promote some teams but don't relegate any model, and where there are contenious issues, such as 3 points between 5th and 8th in a lower league with play offs at stake, then play any remaining head to head matches between those teams with points earned being added to their totals. Do it in the last few weeks before the next season starts. So if 5th has played 6th at home already, but not away, and 7th and 8th haven't played each other once yet, the 5th plays away at 6th and 7th/8th play home and away

  7. Normally Martin samuel looks scruffy like he's been in Quarantine all his life and now we're in Lockdown the geezer looks fresh like he's just gotten back from an holiday with an haircut 🤷‍♂️

  8. It’s okay questioning the moral aspect but when people like Miguel deleany ask why Newcastle united fans support it it’s totally different. My kid could work out why Newcastle fans would support a wealthy takeover instead of not supporting cause of human rights.

  9. I would scrap the season now and start new season start of August have the players not back to training. mid June till start first week of July have two weeks of pre season against teams in England championship league one league 2 teams.start new season beginning of August be best to start it

  10. Its ridiculous that looking at altering and tweaking next season isn't what is going to happen. This season must be completed even if that means scrapping a season which hasn't even happened yet.
Scrapping has huge implications for many clubs if not most clubs whereas finishing will have less impact.
Next season domestic cups could be scrapped. European cups tweak into just knockout giving a few more mid week games in order to get home and away games in.
Its a joke that leagues are null and voiding a season. Doesn't matter when its finished as long as its finished

  11. Please give the people involved in your programs decent equipment (especially the presenter) – you're a major broadcaster. I can watch much smaller/independent channels on Youtube and they are broadcasting in HD with high quality video and mics.

  12. What a bunch of miserable opinions on restarting the league. These players have been in isolation for over a month, so have the ground staff. If the games are without fans, and the players and staff are tested and given PPE to work on the site, where is the danger? Traveling to work like a lot of minimum wage workers have been doing over the past six weeks with no issues?

Either: all leagues post-pone their league and play out the games at the usual beginning of the next season, all leagues are voided, or all leagues are finalised as they are. If there is no consensus amongst the leagues, there will be no consistency with regards to European fixtures.

  13. If the journos are saying that it should be a female coach for the female team because it's in "that realm", should it then be said that there should never be a female referee/coach in the mens game?

  14. Geoff asking 3 journalists until he gets an answer that suits him and of course sky. if someone dies at home because there is no ambulance as its stuck at a football ground as a precaution there will be outrage.

  15. Very simple, wait till the peak is done and the government opens the rest of the country up. May,June,July however long it takes, just finish this league then start the new one after 34 weeks

  16. Isolate the vulnerable and the rest of us just need to be careful. Sport is vital to take our minds off this mess for a few hours. If it’s ok for Sue at the local supermarket to go to work then it’s ok for the footballers to play behind closed doors with the correct precautions.
