this is real even in lacrosse, i play defense and coach was so mad the next day at practice blaming defense when on the offensive side 2 girls on my team were hogging the ball, getting 1 yellow card, 1 red card, and then trying to do shots with their bad hand with no nearby defense on the opposing team
Honestly though my coach literally was like " Okay the back line was…alright but those goals went in and that's a problem so back line catch up the strikers are doing their best!" He alos said more but I forgot, but our strikers are good they just CAN'T SHOOT!!
For real, the coaches always be blaming the defenders and it is not fair like it is so annoying like once we lost the game because our striker literally missed a goal that was practically completely open and our coaches still blame the defenders
yes fr!! my coach one time sent out an email saying for the next three weeks all we are gonna be working on is defensive shapework. i was so confused bc he was literally blaming all our losses on the defense and the midfield and offense literally need a LOT of work.

that is so true, that is literally happening to my team. The coaches keep adding more defensive potions and having weak strikers trying to score
