This season needs to be finished, as if a club are just given the title or given promotion without playing the normal number of games, then in years to come, rival fans will be saying: "Ah but your club didn't win the league/get promoted and have to play the same number of games as our club did in the past". I think the remaining fixtures should be played from October to November, and then one option could be that for the 2020 to 2021 season only, divide each of the normal leagues in half. For example the teams that finished in the top ten in the Premier League in the 2019 to 2020 season would all play each other at home and away, which would be 18 fixtures for each team to play between December and May. The teams that finished 11th to 17th in the 2019 to 2020 Premier League, and the three Championship teams that were promoted, would play in another league of ten teams, and so on. After that you'd resume as normal with the Euro and then the 2021 to 2022 season.

Here is my view, every team currently 1st gets their title, yes I’m a Man United fan but here me out, all champions in Europe enter the champions league for next season, no 2nd,3rd,4th etc they can go in Europa League so for one season unlikely teams can participate at the top table and then it makes the Europa League a more difficult but more attractive product for the season. No relegations but promote the automatic promotion teams so a larger league for one season as there will be 5 relegations. Also those in Europe to all pull out of the league cup to help with fixture congestion.
What ever happens. As a utd fan, just two games for liverpool to win the league,for me its beyong reasonable dubt that liver will get the 6points. So they should be given the Crown. No law, not even the Devil himself should be allowed to deny liver the title they already have. Common sense.

If it gets late to resume play, then why not play next years 38 fixtures in continuation to this seasons 29 games and have the same point standings; except this time the top 4 and relegated teams will be decided after 67 games in May of 2021.
You talked about protection for lower league or non league mens clubs but what about women’s clubs do they not deserve that same type of protection
