  1. LET'S JUST CALL IT WHAT IT IS: RACISM IN SPORTS IS TOLERATED IN SPAIN. La Liga's President and the Spanish Fans have shown the entire world that racism is tolerated in LA LIGA. It's as simple as that.

  2. Racism is here,it always was and always will be,no matter what you do or say it will, sadly never go away.if people get upset by being racially abused then people will pray on this weakness and exploit it to the full.i remember a black footie player was thrown a banana in the 70s,he picked it up,peeled and walked like a chimp, the crowd laughed and he was never abused again because he took the fun side.I'm Welsh and the funniest racist jokes i hear are the ones about the Welsh. There are far more important things in life to worry than racism.

  3. what needs to happen is shut up about it, maybe in usa arguing and pushing blame is a sport but rest of the world dont care about putting blame on somebody for somebodies problems you do that and it will back fire spectacularly

  4. People are literally defending the fans by saying that Vinicius started it by taunting the crowd. Is football so serious that we are now equating competitive banter with racist taunts?

  5. Some football fans can be so dumb! One of Valencia's players was racially abused by the opposition player and the whole Valencia team walked off in solidarity. Now the fans of that same team who have Black players also, are racially abusing another Black player just because he is the best player in that league and they want to put him off. Madness.

  6. Just wanna throw in a brief Football History lesson in context to this subject of racism.
Back in 1916,Argentina hosted the first ever International football tournament called Copa America, there was no World cup at that stage,no Euroes,No Champions league yet,so that was the first big gig in football.
Amongst the teams competing at that tournament was Uruguay a small nation that was not expected to win ,but one thing stood out is that URUGUAY had selected 2 black players in that team,a midfielder called Degaldo and a teenage winger called Isabelino Grenadine. It was the presence of those 2 blacks that upset the host nation Argentina who felt only white players must be selected. So an ugly race debate took place, even conspiracy theories about birth place of Grenadine etc.
But Uruguay refused to drop their black players,it was Grenadine who was dehumanized by Argentine press called a monkey etc.
Despite all odds he helped Uruguay win the tournament and won the Golden boot of the tournament despite the vile racist abuse he endured before, during and after matches.
Many people regard Grenadine as the one who paved way for blacks is football and his performance in 1916 inspired blacks in Brazil to fight for selection in their team decades later,in that time Brazil only picked white players .
Even Pele himself has said there would have never been a PELE if it was not for Grenadine who paved way for next generations.
Now its been over a century since Grenadine endured so much hell just to pave way for others, how will his spirit feel when he still sees black players like Vinicious,Ansu Fati,Moise Kean,Mario Barlotelli etc having to endure the same dehumanization he went through 106 years ago?
They say we need to move on,stop talking about racism, yet when such abuse is thrown in faces of football players, how can we move on from the past?
Moving on with the times, means ditching bad habits of the past like monkey chants etc.
So there ends my take on it,hope everyone has a nice day, feel free to read up about Copa America 1916,or Biography of Isabelino Grenadine including his struggles, his victories and also tragedies.Peace and blessings football family.

  7. Boycott racism and racist Spain football till they learnt to stop racism and ban racist fans for life and ban their teams for at least 5 years and for repeating racism ban teams for 10 years more

  8. I call out racism but no way will i be a allie. Especially when certain groups so bad things and then hide behind racism when they are challenged. Also Vinicius doesn't do himself any favours when goading the fans. #sticksandstones. More imprtant things to worry about. Do what Clyde Best did, silence the fookers by sticking a couple in the net. Also what is Darren Bent view on smart/proper black people who get racially abused by their own because they don't follow the hood rat culture? Maybe shouldn't be so arrogant

  9. Well said #BanLaLiga 🙏 ESPN and USA TV need to ban the racist league today !!! I'm from 🇺🇸 and I experice and seen my kids go to the same racist treatment on soccer field. Enough is enough and enough. 🙏
