Bayern Munich had won 11 straight Bundesliga titles. They’ve also won the Champions League twice in that period. They broke their transfer record by signing Harry Kane in the summer.
But not only may they not win a single trophy this season, they are a club in crisis.
Seb Stafford-Bloor outlines what’s actually happening at Bayern Munich. Illustrated by Philippe Fenner.

Tuchel is a joke of a manager
Nahhh it’s the kane curse
not as many people are buying aspirin. thus all bayern affiliates and subsidiaries are suffering from less points because less money.
Hoe about some credit for the teams around them improving?
I'm really playing the world's smallest violin right now since Bayern can't win their 12th championship, boo hoo
They just described what happened, but did not answer their title question: So what's actually gone wrong then?
They are gonna win the UCL
The curse of kane lol
Nothing’s gone wrong, leverkusen are just very good right now, it’s relative.
Jesus, a team that hasnt lost a match is beating them. If thats a crisis then chelsea is having a meltdown
We‘ve had no middlefield for 3 years now lol.
nothing. bye
What went wrong? they hired a manager who bought a house in munich, while Nagelsmann was still manager, a snitch by heart. Players quickly smell snitchs.
Really appreciate you bringing the long format videos back!
The recruitment process has gone wrong. One too many mediocre players
Simple, thomas is a fraud
Ancelotti and Nagelsmann would have been good long-term managers, they should have been more patient with them. They rushed them out the door and replaced them with mediocrity.
Thank you for the Video!
as an american fan, seeing Chelsea AND Thomas Tuchel flounder (AT BAYERN no less), while pulisic thrives in milan. its..just…chefs kiss
eric dier full time instead of minjae?
Kane is just cursed man, not even his faullt
I'd say Leverkeusen are making Bayern look bad, nothing going wrong at all, yes they exited the DFB Pokal, but they are still in the Champions league. If they were 5th and had exited the champions league id worry. This isnt legit Tifo, a studious piece on nothing really.
Bayern are not in a crisis. Leverkusen are exceptional this season
Leverkusen are invincible through 25 games. They have 67 points, and they have more points than anyone in the prem (64) through 28 games. Leverkusen should be lauded more than Bayern should be scorned.
