  1. Its the thing that fascinates me the most. How can the line ups look so poor after all the money that's been spent. If you picked a best 11 from a pool of all the players in the premier league you wouldn't be picking any from Man United. Contrast that to their glory days and you would probably pick half their team. Until the culture of excellence returns and they spend their money wisely then the expectations should stay in check.

  2. United spent a ton of money for a team in 7th place and a negative goal differential. Chelsea maybe the only team doing a better job at underperforming

  3. Recruitment as well has been so poor, seems it's just Ten Haag just picked up his old mates, should be a director of football or head of recruitment or whatever saying no this player is better suited for what you want. Remember if it was up to Klopp he would have signed Julian Brandt instead of Salah

  4. I really don't buy this idea that uncertainty about ownership is affecting the players. Think about your own experience says Gary. OK, I've experienced exactly this in a corporate environment. We still just got on with our jobs.

Players are very insulated from other things going on at the club. If they look entirely disorganised on the pitch that's down to the manager and his staff, not some guys sitting in Florida.

  5. Gary Neville is what the game is about. These days it's all about me this and me that and Instagram and all the other bs that unfortunately I don't think there's any way back from. Still it's so refreshing to hear a man this passionate because that's what it's all about, and that's unfortunately what the game is slowly losing.

And yes, I agree, Gary Neville is by far the best guest on the Gary Neville podcast

  6. He thinks United are above everyone else in the world. Remember fergie time????? A bang average player playing in a team he had no right to be in. Listening to him talk tactics after what he did in Spain is honestly laughable 😂😂😂. United had there time, players go there now for Money not to win. This fella should never be a pundit with his biased views day in day out about United. One word Gary, Valencia.

  7. Gary is a decent chap and certainly a Manu legend. But, with respect, his football commentary is more like venting his emotions rather than telling his audience what exactly is happening on the pitch. At times he sounds line a Liverpool fan, and at others a ManCity fan. This makes him out of tune with Manu fans. I think he better nominate himself as a Labour Party candidate in the next general election!

  8. Biggest problem is board
Need a heavy hitting strict management team
What’s about roy Keane and Neville fans would go for that
    Rolling contracts to start
This team needs to improve asap not near good enough
Lack lustered well paid for no output

  9. Let's be honest the work rate of the players is poor let alone all the other issues. As a fan seeing no passion/commitment to challenge/fight to get the ball back is a worry in itself.
