  1. Honestly, Cindy Parlow Cone and Matt Crocker will probably take forever with their "search" panic and rehire Bruce Arena, Bob Bradley, or an MLS retread HC. USMNT/NIKE/MLS is a cabal I have no faith in it.

  2. Hello, fellow yanks: I give you a couple points from a citizen born in a country with real football:
    1. Instead of getting a good national coach, get relegation and promotions in your stupid league.
    2. Make sure your teams foster the growth of youth players with decent youth coaches within their clubs.
    3. Make sure each team has divisions from U12 – U19, with REAL COACHES, which accept players from local Universities and Clubs.
    4. Foster the idea of making sure your homegrown players get hired in other leagues – EPL, Bundesliga, Spanish Primera Division, and Serie A.
    5. A good market to start pushing players to get developed is Portugal. That could be the starting point for many yanks in Europe.
    6. Make sure that Alexi Lalas shuts the Royal f*ck up. Like, seriously: put a bloody sock on his hole.

  3. You can choose any coach you want, U.S soccer can’t compete until they rethink their whole system of fostering talent. All these clubs should at the least start youth academies based on talent not how much a family can pay.

  4. Klinsmann had it right, he was a the first US mens coach who realized that you need players with international club experience in order to compete against others on the international stage. MLS players/coaches are not going to cut it. Maybe it's time to ask Joachim Low if he would like to help coach and reshape the team. Also, stop looking for wimpy Nike-approved coaches and players that have no fire in their playing. Or you can continue and the same direction and expect the same results.

  5. Noticed how these pundits never achieved anything playing for the US, this will never change as long as “soccer” isn’t the number 1 sport here.

  6. The moment Mo said, I want to thank him for bringing us back to with winning Nations League and Gold Cup, I was like there isn't a single former or current US player or coach who has any vision for anything other than mediocrity. Who cares about those 2 stupid tournaments. They are competing against Jamaica, Panama, Canada and the worst Mexican squad in a generation. That is an achievement? When they win those tournaments against Germany, Colombia or even Japan, then let's talk. Crocker and the rest of organization need purged too.

  7. Hire Lexi Lalas! He consistently has huge confidence in himself, criticizes the US coaches and team, and knows exactly what they should do.

  8. What is the next level for the USMNT ?
I'm unsure of what Americans think they should be achieving in a World Cup ?
    No hate just asking.
What would/do you regard as success, as no one ever seems to clarify what that is ?

  9. Way to go hawt taeks. Not a single name mentioned between the three of them. Maybe along with a new coach we need new commentators…
