  1. I hate var. goal line technology is good, but every other decision should be made with the human eye. Mistakes happen, but that’s always been a part of the game and a little controversy is a good thing.

  2. At least we have a Premier league man in there. Even if he is French. you pretty much have to be French, Swiss etc to get in these places. They love a bit of power/ politics. Lets hope Wenger keeps things above the table for once.

  3. ridiculous that you speak about the sheffield goal and not about TAA handball before they scored 1:0. pitch side monitor. ref on pitch, has final say. that would have not been a goal.

  4. He will stop large transfer fees, and stop big takeovers from winning leagues. Give smaller clubs a chance, there will be a cap on wages and transfer funds.

  5. Glen Johnson "Too many people don't understand it…me included"
I guess that is British problem overall….they don't understand VAR….that's why their referees are bottling it so hard compare to rest of the world that have at least some inteligence to use it properly…..even in Russia FFS

  6. "I dont like VAR" why's that? Erm… cuz the fans dont celebrate goals anymore…. 😅 what a moron. No intelligent reasoning at all. Football has rules, VAR is a way to enforce those rules much more efficiently. Whats the problem? 🤣

  7. 1. review all penalties after each round. any diving gets an 8 match ban. ashley young might only get to play 4 matches a year
    2. if a player yells at a ref, instant red card. touches a ref, 5 match ban. doesn't follow a refs instruction, like come here, instant yellow card. if he still doesn't listen, 2nd yellow card. goodbye.
    3. soft fouls don't get given anymore
    4. VAR gets 30 seconds to review, otherwise decisions stands. also, if VAR has to go the most minute detail to make a ruling, then the ref's ruling stands.
    5. mike dean gets fired

no more pussy football. these gifted athletes shouldn't be made to look like a bunch of fairies just cause they want a free kick or pen.

  8. VAR solution for offsides: only the foot should be allowed to be offside, nothing else. Install a device in every boot (probably integrate it with the mi coach), once a player is offside just review the line from the micoach of all players on the line at the same time. I’ll patent this.

And the mi coach is in the center of the boot so we don’t get issues where you’re trying to judge an offside cos his toe was on or off.
