  1. I’m from England, and the climate will affect every single European team. Not just England. I mean sure, hot weather is draining, but it’s a World Cup, no one should be worrying about the climate right now. I’m sure there will be water breaks and games at a time of day when it’s a little bit cooler.

  2. The hot climate won't favour England, they just have to hope most of their matches are played in the north east or Canada. What they dont want is for their matches to be played in Mexico or in the southern parts of the United States were the humidity will be sky high.

  3. Another total bore, foregone conclusion, England Group Game.

I really do not know why they bother with 90% of these games.

Just give the Groups, to England, France, Portugal, Germany, etc. etc. and let the rest fight it out and be done with it.

The only surprise was, it was only 0:5 and Harry Kane only got 2 goals.

As a Bayern Supporter I am also well pissed off with Tuchel.

Kompany asked him "When England go 3,4 up, could you please take Harry Kane off to keep him fit" and Tuchel said he would, the lying SOB didn't and Kane was still on come the end.

These games are getting more and more like a Training Session, Defence vs Attack.

UEFA/FIFA really must change the format on these games and maybe make it more like the CL, or Europa League Format, because from an excitement point of view, this garbage is really not worth watching and there is no excitement in these games what so ever.

72% England possession, Latvia "1" shot on target, 24 shots to 6, England, just shows what a total bore it was.

  4. England have the deepest squad in an elongated World Cup, which is a massive advantage for England. No Southgate whose poor coaching meant they played below the level of players. Under Tuchel a good competent coach, England are more fluid, balanced and dominant in the game. All things being equal, they should minimum reach the semifinals. Their biggest threat is FIFA who are extremely anti-England and often try and influence games with referee match appointments. FIFA don’t want England winning their cup so expect England to get a bad South American referee in a big match who makes games deciding bad decisions like they got in 2022 against France where they had four clear penalties disallowed and France’s first goal came from a clear foul on Saka. If England get fair referees they get to semifinal easy.

  5. Easiest qualifying group in anything ever for England. But to their credit, they simply did what's expected without unnecessary drama. Not giving away any goals is indeed unexpected, even if the others in the group are soft third rates. The bad thing is, England might face a shock when against genuine opposition in the World Cup.
