  1. Hit it first time, a midfielders dream to be laid off in that position just outside the box. Obviously he’s set up for the left though I realise this. But the modern midfielder should have the ability to shoot a decent standard with both feet.

  2. He tried to knock the ball past the defender when he had no way around him in a congested area, even if he got the nutmeg he wouldn't ever be able to get around the defender without someone else reaching the ball

  3. A lot of people would say scanning , but I think even if he didn't scan and touched the ball with his front leg {closest leg to the ball } and line up for a shot he'd actually be gud . But advisable to always do a shoulder scan b4 askin for the ball

  4. I saw the same thing with my kids the other day. They don’t know where anyone is, they don’t make the easy 1-2 play, and for the love of god trying to dribble and take extra touches when there is no space

  5. The problem was that he didn't check his shoulder and that didn't give he enough awareness and time to react to take a touch and get the right shot or pass off but his teamates could have also communicated but it is mostly on him for not checking his shoulder
