I just want to say thanks for all your content on here – im a massive fan of your views and ideas for youth football – i have a question that's leaving me a little bit helpless with the coaching of our team at the moment – a lot of our players have played for a few years but not under any of the type of structure that is needed to start to play the style of football you discuss in your videos – playing out from the back using build out patterns of play – my question is how do I reset my players and get them on board with this style of football – im becoming a little bit obsessed with patterns of play but cant seem to figure out a way to get the team to get on board with this particular style of coaching and playing football – im old enough to realise this is something that works if its done well but i find its a battle to get them to play anything other than frantic work where they just battle ( and battle really well i might add) but just battling isnt going to be enough as we progress to 9v9 in a few months – would love to hear your opinions on my situation – we really do have a full team of talented boys and i know that they can be so much better particularly if we start to implement some of the ideas you speak about on your channel – thanks in advance
