Up the Imps!
Yes! That's awesome, UP THE IMPS!
Went to my first game at 16. Now 54, never thought the Imps would make the Championship in my lifetime. UTI
They're punching above their weight making it to the Championship, League One is their historical level/standing. Hopefully they can keep surprising next season. As I understand it they have some stadium improvements next season and are looking to increase their season capacity in the future too. A club on the up.
Fantastic. Imps deserve this they have earned it
Superb interview – just one criticism; it should have been much longer! I grew up in the city in the early 1960s having moved there from Market Rasen in December 1960 when I was almost 6 years old. My first game was March 1963 when my dad took me to the FA Cup Third Round game Vs Coventry City (itself a historical event which you should research as to the reasons why) and I have been in love with the club ever since. To say I am utterly ecstatic about our latest promotion (our third title in nine years) would be very much an understatement. We will thrive in the Championship, of that I am sure!
Just want to correct the geography in the video, Lincoln is in the East Midlands not the East of England, the East Midlands has cities like Nottingham and Leicester whilst the East of England has Norwich and Peterborough, I've seen people in England mix the 2 regions up so it's an easy mistake to make but just thought I'd correct it
I was brought up in the streets of Lincoln in the 60s. My first time watching the imps was a forgettable 1-1 draw v Aldershot that my brother took me to. Since then I have witnessed many amazing matches. The Fans are Loud the club has incredible people in charge and superb dedicated players. Happy days. Love the t.shirt.
It was a fun coffee break watch. I didn't realize Lincoln City is that old. The town looks charming. Thanks for the education, Don!
Very happy the Imps are going up π
