  1. This is when the manager let them down. Theres no way Ferguson would be letting them act like they had already won giving speeches like that. Keane as Captain would of just said lets win next game start cekebrating and Ferguson would of been furious of a player acting like that!! Gerrard was brilliant but i also think he was negative he thought he was Liverpool,theres loads of talk about that and the way he was at Liverpool another shearer type that had to be big man

  2. This is why when you compete, you keep calm. You treat it as your job. You don't let anything out that tempts fate like unlucky G here.
    Man City's 6, soon to be 7, title wins are all about graft, determination and ability to keep cool under intense pressure. Any problems they had were sorted before the so-called business end of the season, enabling them to deliver win after win and lift the trophy in front of their fans.

    (Complain about the oil money all you like. Their competitors have spent more in select seasons and come away with Zero)
